    Description

    Very attractive hard to find coin
    The 1895-O gold eagle had a mintage of just 98,000 pieces with an estimated population of 1,200.
    The majority of these coins were placed into circulation where many of them ended up in European banks. Eventually, some have come home, but with numerous marks and cuts acquired on the journey. Due to this,
    the most commonly seen grades of this issue are in the range of AU-BU.
