The 1907 Liberty Head Gold Eagles NGC MS62 gold coin is from one of the most long-lived series in American Coinage having been struck with minor changes over the course of its 69 year run! 1907 was a year filled with innovation. The first taxicabs with taximeters started operating in London and UPS was founded in Seattle Washington. President Theodore Roosevelt proclaimed that Oklahoma had become the 46th state in the United States and the bank panic of 1907 was ended when Wall Street financiers, including J.P. Morgan, invested heavily in the plunging New York Stock Exchange. Famous births included American actress Katherine Hepburn, and actor, John Wayne. The series is struck on .900 fine gold planchets each containing .48375 oz. of gold.
This coin was struck at the Philadelphia branch of the U.S. Mint.
The mintage was limited to 1,203,899 pieces.
This is the final year of issue for the series which would be replaced by the Indian Head Cent.
This issue was designed by Christian Gobrecht, the 3rd Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint.
Gobrecht's Classic Design
Obverse: The obverse features Liberty facing left, with her hair gathered in a bun with a few curls escaping near her neck.
Reverse: The reverse shows a Bald Eagle behind a shield clutching arrows and an olive branch. The motto "In God We Trust" appears overhead on a banner.

All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over 0 must include a Return Authorization Number.
