1925 FRANKLIN SIMON 5th AVENUE NEW YORK FASHION CATALOG FLAPPER BRAMLEY LINE

Description

This is a REALLY nice and very hard to find "Firth Avenue Fashions ....Franklin Simon & Co." catalog that is dated 1925. This catalog is for "...Fashions Spring and Summer 1925 Correct Dress for Women , Misses, Girls, Boys and Infants". It is in remarkable condition which is what makes this example rare.
It has colorful covers and also great black and white pictured interior pages. These interior pages have many real photo like images, detailed black and white images and illustrations. Virtually all of the pages have detailed descriptions, great graphics, information and prices. There are 128 pages. This lot also includes a separate , attached and unused "order blank" as the last page. It does not appear anything has been removed there but this final page shows the rear cover coming off at the bottom edge of the spine. (see pictures)
This example has pages loaded with every type of clothing and there are also pages devoted to shoes, some home accessories, nursery items, handbags, gifts, etc.
This great catalog has very detailed descriptions, pictures loaded with details, dimensions, options, etc.
This item was found with a number of other vintage brochures, catalogs and paper ephemera that all dated from 1910 to about 1929. It is in simply remarkable condition and it
measures approx. 7 5/8 inches by approx. 10 1/8 inches. It has nice covers with light edge wear and the spine has surface wear and some paper loss along the bottom edge. The covers have a nice overall look with vintage graphics and the store pictured on the reverse. The edges are nice and this cover has protected the interior pages very nicely. There are not even any
dog eared pages noted , no tears, no stains and only the slightest cover discoloration and/or soiling. The interior pages are a nice off white and this is an exceptional copy of a harder to find catalog. Very little is effected by any noted damage. (see close-up pictures)
Regardless, this is a nice item full of great information and these are not often seen in this condition. The staples are not rusty and there is no foul odor. Th
