    A clear, 3 inch x 4 inch by 1/4 inch thick, plastic holder containing an actual piece of wood stage section from the Birkenhead YMCA in England. This display comes with a free display stand and laminated COA card on the wood section.
    Brian Epstein, the Beatles manager, wanted the Beatles to improve their image by playing in more respectable venues, so shortly after Ringo joined the Beatles, he had them play at the Birkenhead YMCA on 8 September, 1962. Their reception was less than was hoped for as many fans were not pleased with the sacking of popular Beatles drummer Pete Best. This was one of the first Beatles concert with the new drummer Ringo Star. This piece of stage was removed from a section of the actual stage the Beatles played on. It was recovered during a restoration project and issued as part of a collectible fund raiser by the Birkenhead YMCA.
