    19thC Chinese Export Decorated Pig Skin Box, Having rectangular shape with carry handles on each end,
    Brass clasp
    26 1/4" wide x 17 5/8" deep x 12 1/2" tall, all over free hand decoration of deer, geese, birds, flowers with a wise man /elder on a moon with three boys on the lid,, A zoomorphic animal with a child riding it and a woman (maybe Gyanin) on the front,
    One side has a censor with two scrolls, the other has a bowl with a fan.
    The backside has a floral design and the bottom is painted black ( not covered in pig skin)
    very good condition.
    Weighs over 16 pounds
    Has Chinese lettering inside
