Antique Large heavy Wooden Ethiopian Food Container with a silver aloy ornaments.
Original and authentic piece - Dimensions 30 cm diameter and 23 cm high. The lid no longer fits properly on the base due to its age.
Depending on the tribe, these containers are more or less ornate, decorations or various materials that increase its value and the prestige of its.
Ethiopian pastoral peoples have a variety of containers made in various materials (gourd, wood, animal horn, plant fibers, and leather) and using different kind of designs and decoration. Most of them are made from a combination of media and richly decorated. .
