I personally go through original new uncirculated U.S Mint or N.F. String Rolls to hand-select only the best coins. Usually I can only pull 2-5 nickels from a roll that are high enough quality.
I rate and look for (in this order):
1.
Luster in the coin finish - eye appeal
2.
Least amount of marks, dings, nicks, etc.
3.
Strike quality
There might be small imperfections here and there, maybe minor bag marks from the mint or tiny things, but they are the best you can get and I have received nothing but positive praise from everyone. They are uncirculated, great quality, and worthy to put in folders.
