ANRI Far West Chess Set.
Over 100 years ago in the Tyroleanregion of Italy, Anton Riffeser founded a wood carving company dedicated toproducing the finest wood carvings anywhere.
His carvings were of unmatched quality and remain so today.
The company name was shortened to ANRI andis now famous the world over for its exquisite artworks.
Over the years ANRI has produced many finechess sets all of which have become prized collector items. This particular set,entitled “The Far West” (Item #718-060) was issued from 1961 through 1984 only,and depicts the Indians and American soldiers of the Far West and is truly oneof ANRI’s finest sets.

The K height is 5”
All pieces are in “as new” condition. The white flecks on some of thepieces are from the camera flash.
Thisset was not issued with a board. The board shown in the photo is forillustration and is NOT included.
Note
Myfather built his collection of chess sets with pride over many years and caredfor each set meticulously. But now, sadly, with advancing age, he has decidedto part with his prized sets for others to enjoy.
