Description
This rare a Ntan carved drum without supports. Remnants of a clock once being part of the design are combined with many carvings of familiar as well as unusual creatures (like a lizard drivng a car), people in scenes, and letters/numbers, and of course, breasts, that adorn the body of the drum. No drum skin is include and one stretcher stick is included. Both top and bottom are open clear through. Also carved is: "Nsuta Ntsinma Number Two" and "Kueku Buja".Circa: 1934-1935
