Each shell in this pack has been hand-rubbed with a gorgeous dark oil stain that contains a generous shot of scotch whisky blended right into the finish. And let us tell you: to sit behind this kit is a transformative experience. The shells answer back with every ounce of emotion you pour into your performance, with room-filling Elvin and Bonham beats emerging every time you gaze upon its glowing caramel countenance. Shells come crowned with tall red stripe wood hoops to maximize the depth and power this kit is capable of. Every A&F drum is handmade in Austin, Texas, by (skilled) artisans in collaboration with professional drummers. They've embraced archaic construction techniques from decades past to make drums that have a unique sound. Since every drum component is handmade, aged, and assembled in-house, there may be small variances between two drums of the same size and finish. While some would classify varying patinas, imperfect circles, or visible weld seams as flaws, A&F Drums disagrees. In fact, the artisans at A&F consider these cosmetic "flaws" to be the hallmark of a one-of-a-kind 100% handmade drum.
