What is recommended fishing rod setup?
Rod...Recommend a pole at least 8-10ft long and can handle over 10 lbs
Reel...Recommend at least a size 6000 reel. A good way to go is an 8000 size reel
Line...Recommend at least 50 lbs braided line.
Without Rod: For pier and jetty, just nylon rope.
Q: How to use the trap? What are the best crab baits?
Simply cast the crab trap into a sandy area with lots of crabs, wait about 20 minutes, then reel it in, keep the line tight.

What time of day is best to go crabbing? Where is the best crabbing places?
The best time to go crabbing is at the point in the day that is two hours before high tide, or two hours after high tide.
