    Description

    A wooden headrest or neckrest from the Arussi tribe Ethiopia. The headrest is decorated on both sides and smells of goat or mutton grease. The Arussi put the grease in their hair and it transfers to the headrest when it is used. It measures 7.5 inches, 19.5 cm, in height and 7.5 inches, 19.5 cm, in width at the widest point. Scroll down the page for more pictures. The coin in the picture measures 16 mm in diameter.
