THIS LISTING IS FOR A BEAUTIFUL 19th CENTURY QING DYNASTY CHINESE HAND ENAMELED BRASS BOX WITH DRAGONS AND FLAMING PEARL DECORATION.
BEAUTIFULLY ENAMELED ON TOP OF LID WITH TWO DRAGONS AND FLAMING PEARL ON COLORFUL YELLOW GROUND. THE CENTER MEDALLION IS BORDERED BY PINK FLOWERS ON THE CORNERS AGAINST A GREEN GROUND.
BRASS BOX HAS AN ALL-OVER EMBOSSED DESIGN IN RELIEF WITH DRAGONS AMID CLOUDS AND HAS A WOOD LINED INTERIOR.
THE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT WITH NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS.
MEASURES 3 3/4" HIGH, 6" WIDE AND 2 3/4" DEEP.
THE QING DYNASTY SPANNED THE YEARS 1644-1912, ENDING WHEN THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA WAS FORMED. ELEVEN EMPERORS REIGNED DURING THIS PERIOD.
