    :
    Antique (1900-1930s) Chinese Carved Cinnabar Lacquer Box.  Features two monks seated in a landscape setting.  Bottom and inside are traditional black.  There is some damage, particularly on the lid, and you should pay particular attention to the photos as they are the best description of the condition.
    Size: 4 1/4" x 3 5/8" x 1 1/2" high.
    I believe this to be from between 1900-1930s, partially based upon the hand-lettered "CHINA" marking on the bottom.  However, I am not an expert in Cinnabar.  If you have interest, please do your own evaluation via the photos I have provided, and ask questions before purchasing.
