In a blue and green scrolled background with pink flowers in the hinged lid and box.
The lid with a cartouche with a female figure in a boat with a canopy on a marsh with waterlilies.
A tree shades the scene.
White enamel base with trace of a red mark.
Metal mounts.
Probably from early 20th Century
L. 4 1/2", Depth 3", H. 2 1/8"
Condition: chip to the box front and back right top corners, and left back top corner, wear along the mount edges, discoloration to white enamels
