For your consideration is a Chinese Ming dynasty blue and white porcelain box. This box is eight sided and finely hand painted. In the centre is a rabbit with her head turned upwards towards the sky with the sun or moon up above. The top eight panels have various buddhist symbols and the bottom eight panels have
egret
like birds and flowers. Wonderful item for your collection. 16th to 17th Century.
Condition:
Cracks and chips, glaze slips.
