Antique Chinese Rosewood Brass Fitted Jewelry Document Box. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Measures approximately 15”long, 4”tall, 6” deep. Wonderful dark rosewood is fitted with carved brass latch and lock, as well as additional linear brass fittings on each side, including back. The original brass lock, in the shape of a fish, is present. As shown in photos, the brass slide goes through the flip latch and is hidden to the eye. The tool (red piece, not original), is used to insert into the slot on the side of the lock, then the slide pos out for removal. This is a special piece, both in condition of wood and brass, as well as overall design.
