Antique Grooming Set With Crewel On Leather And Note from 1897

Among my travels I came upon this little antique jewel. Antique leather bound grooming kit perhaps for a child as it is very small 3 1/2 x 2 1/4" folded, inside the kit is a shoe button hook, a tiny comb, nail grooming pick and a mirror. Next segment is a sprig of flowers with crewel work on leather under that was a note pad with an inscription which upon careful study can be read in full it looks like the following "Maggie Eblakes
book haied my dress in circle 13th of January up to April 1894" and it continues. I don't know what I pushed on the keypad to change the font but I'll live with it. This is a really neat dated antique that belongs in someones collection I will start this one low hope it ends up in a loving collection.
