ANTIQUE LONG SHANK BRONCO SPURS/STIRRUPS 1880’sThese antique spurs were from the 1880’s. An antique dealer gave them to us. They are very unique in that one rowel was replaced with an old copper coin of uncertain origin. The following letters are visible on the coin (DC RIC). The other rowel could be original but the “saw tooth” and center hole is worn. The heel band, shank and leather buttons are in good shape and made from steel. The leather bands appear to be original. One is torn. They appear to be working spurs vs show spurs and show normal signs of wear.
CONDITION: Used
DIMENSIONS: 6 ¾” from rowel to heel band; 3 ¼” at widest part of heel band.
