Magnificent antique Qing Dynasty lacquer cinnabar wood box in wooden case. This piece is SO incredibly beautiful and captivating. It features FIVE different pictures - one on each of the four sides and the fifth on the top of the box. The top of the cinnabar box lifts off to reveal an empty square inside, with a black lacquer lining. The top box measures 3.5" x 3.5" x 3.5". When placed on the base the total height of the piece is 4.75". There is some slight damage to the lacquer - shown in pictures, so please look carefully. The cinnabar box has it's own wooden protective case and the item fits perfectly inside. STUNNING!!!
