Description
Description - An antique 19th century Chinese rice barrel or dry measure. The barrel with an old brown varnished surface ,constructed of bentwood staves bound with iron straps . One of the knobs marked with a wax seal.
Age - ca 1880

Size - 13 1/2" tall x 10 1/4" in diameter x 7" top opening
Condition - Very good overall with some wood shrinkage and loose staves.  The bottom strap an early replacement.
