RUBBER SOUL PICK DISPLAY
A unique 3"x 4", 1/4" thick clear plastic holder with colorful digital art graphics and an actual piece of wood from the parquet wood floor in Studio #2 at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London, England. This display also contains a fully licensed, custom guitar pick with Rubber Soul graphics, and a single film frame, from a documentary film, of Beatles producer George Martin in the sudio control room. This section of wood floor was recovered during a 1985 repair. The pieces being offered were removed from the bottom of the wood so as to keep the surface intact. The floor pieces are a little smaller than our Sgt. Pepper Abbey Road display. Some of the pieces will be finished, some rough, and some with dark stain from adhesive, but all will be of similar size.
You will also receive a 3 5/8 inch by 6 1/2 inch envelope with information about the 55th anniversary (3 December, 1965) of the UK Rubber Soul album release with Dec 3, 2020 Monument Beach, MA postmark.
Rubber Soul is the sixth album by The Beatles; it was released on December 3, 1965 in the United Kingdom and on December 6, 1965 in the United States. Rubber Soul was produced by George Martin, and recorded in just over a month to make the Christmas Market. In 2003, the album was ranked number 5 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 2006, the album was also chosen by Time Magazine as one of the 100 best albums of all time. This display comes with a free display stand and laminated COA card on the film frame and wood segment.
