You will receive a very limited First Day Cover. This 3 5/8 inch by 6 1/2 inch colorful FDC, with the red gradient John Lennon stamp, that was issued on 7 September, 2018 and with the custom official USPS peace symbol cancellation with a colorful cachet of the "All you need is love" television show in 1967.
You will also receive a beautiful gold colored, 40mm (1 ½ inch) coin/medal with Beatles faces to front and their names to the back. It is mounted in a 2 3/8 inch by 3 1/4 inch presentation case with a photo of the Beatles holding "All You Need Is Love" signs in different languages. This comes with a small, clear plastic display stand.
The song served as Britain's contribution to Our World, the first live global television link, when the Beatles were filmed performing it at EMI Studios in London on 25 June 1967. The programme was broadcast via satellite and seen by an audience of over 400 million in 25 countries. Lennon's lyrics, which were deliberately simplistic to allow for the show's international audience, captured the utopian sentiments of the Summer of Love era. The single topped sales charts in Britain, the United States and many other countries, and became an anthem for the counterculture's embrace of flower power philosophy.
