Unique 3 inch x 4 inch by 1/4 inch thick, clear, UV protective, acrylic holder with colorful custom Lennon in New York City shirt art with an actual swatch, of grey liner, from a pair of black trousers/pants worn by John in 1967. The display also has an original 35mm film frame, from the Beatles movie “A Hard Day’s Night.” The Lennon trousers was originally acquired in the early 80's directly from Gordon Millings whose father was the owner of Millings & Son tailor shop. This was the famous tailor shop used by the Beatles, many movie stars, and other important music figures. Acquired through the British auction house of Cooper and Owen. The trousers have the original Millings and Son bevo label and the additional label with hand written notes with a "John Lennon July 1967." After careful inspection and consideration it was determined that a small fragment of material (left by the tailor) could be removed without compromising the integrity of the trousers. The material was removed from the waist area. The removal was done by a professional seamstress. I have several of these and each swatch of material is a little different, but all will be of equal size. This display comes with a laminated coa card on the material and another on the film frame.
This display has a mounted, fully licensed Revolver art guitar pick and comes with a display stand.
