This lovely antique Chinese Red Cinnabar Box is in very good condition. The cinnabar was applied onto a metal box that has no dents or breaks.  There is some minor wear in the cinnabar, along the sides of the box. The interior is black enamel and it is in good condition and shows little wear.
It measures about 4 1/8" long, 3 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" deep and 1 3/4" high with the top in place. It is signed on the bottom and dates from the mid to late 1800's.
