    Beautiful Chinese hat box fitted together with carved wood.
    Chinese lacquer cherry wood box with fitted lid . Originally created to store a ruler's official crown or hat.
    NOTE:
    Included is a crown currently made for display or a theatrical performance. The
    CROWN
    IS
    NOT
    an antique.
    The
    crown
    is modeled on Chinese Emperor Kangxi's crown who ruled from 1873 – 1889

    Measures 13.25" diameter x 12" high. In very good antique condition. The box has some cracks commensurate
    with antique age and years of use. Overall structurally very sound and quite sturdy. Lid interior and the bottom
    of box feature Chinese writings which convey wishes of
    GOOD LUCK, HEALTHY LIVING, HAPPINESS etc, etc...
