    Description

    In Ghana, Africa, a "barbershop" must have a painted sign to advertise the hair fashion services available.  The signs are normally painted by young, skilled, pop culture savvy sign painters.   This one was painted on a 2ft by 3ft wide thin, but strong, Luan panel. The sign painter artisan was skilled in his style and paint handling.
    I purchase this item from a very reputable gallery dealer in the Chicago area several years ago.
