    This is part of the 2016 Piece of Walt Disney World Resort History series. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort opened at the Walt Disney World Resort on October 1, 1971. Featuring a South Seas theme with longhouses named after Pacific Islands, it is also one of the monorail stops for the Magic Kingdom resorts. This pin contains a piece of the resort's original room number signs that were replaced during the 2015 renovation.
