HUGE vintage hand carved wood figural woven bamboo Chinese coffee table box

Description

Up for sale is an extremely large vintage handmade Chinese wood and bamboo box.
it's deeply carved by hand with intricate figural scene on the lid with a lovely lacquered finish.
the trim and sides of the box are wrapped with a hand woven, deep brown colored, bamboo and is a very tightly done weave.
the lid sits recessed into the base which has feet on the bottom of all corners.
the box is very heavy and overall in nice
condition
.
it measures 21 1/2 inches long by 20 1/2 inches wide by 8 1/4 inches tall.
there are two age cracks on the figural scene as shown in photos.
