    JOHN PERRY sculpture of a pod of PORPOISE DOLPHINS on a large 8 pound piece of beautiful BURL WOOD. Excellent condition and clean.
    Gorgeous wood patterns, knobs, complex grains and color variations in the large piece of burl wood. Naturally shiny and dulled areas create great contrast, in the background, to the pod of bright white porpoises.
    Overall measurement is 15 inches long by 11 inches high and 9 1/2 inches wide. The burl alone is approximately 14 inches long by 9 inches high and 9 inches wide. Weighs 7 pounds 11 ounces ! JOHN PERRY Medallion on the side.
    No cracks, chips or stains. I find no flaws on this piece. There is a minute amount of play (movement) in the metal prongs within the porpoises, by design, so they don't crack under pressure.
    This lovely and well-composed scene is clean and ready for display.
