  • Condition: Pre-owned. Hand carved from one piece of wood. Primitive crafted look. This may be African teak wood due to grain and knots but do not know for sure. There appears to be a crafting flaw as one of the back leg was broken at a "knot area" in the wood at time of carving. The break is old not new. It is cut straight across. (see final photo & # 3 photo) Paper Label on bottom reads: "Hand Crafted Made In Kenya". Please view photos as they are part of the condition description. All questions welcome.

    Measurements:  9 1/2" L 31/2" H 7" Bowl Diameter (Approximately)
    Condition:  Pre-owned.  Crafting flaw of one of back legs.  Appears to have broken at knot area and then cut straight across making it shorter. (see final photo & photo #3).
    Care:  Hand-was only / Dry completely.  Will need oil treatment periodically.
    This is a hand carved wooden bowl, possibly teak.  Handmade by artisans in Kenya Africa featuring an elephant drinking from the bowl.  Would be perfect to hold your peanuts or snacks or use as a trinket bowl.  The shorten back leg gives it character.  This item would make a beautiful addition to your home decor by adding a touch of Africa.
