    7-Way Switching:
The Pickguard is equipped with a mini toggle switch. When flipped to the ON position it activates the Neck Pickup. When the 5-Way Switch is in the Bridge Position the Neck and Bridge Pickups are Active. In the Middle/Bridge Position, All Pickups are Active. This is sometimes called the Gilmour Mod.  Named after David Gilmour of Pink Floyd Fame.
    Split Tone Mod:
The Neck and Middle Pickups share a Tone Pot, while the Bridge Pickup has a Tone Pot of its own.  When the 5-Way Switch is in the Middle/Bridge Position, both Tone Pots are Active allowing you to blend the tone of the two Pots. And, because this has 7-Way Switching, there are even more blending options.  A very nice option indeed!
    Treble Bleed:
A Treble Bleed allows the highs to pass through the Volume pot as you roll off the Volume. What this does is keep the Brightness and the Clarity of the pickups the same as you roll down the volume. You have the same clarity and brightness at 10 as you would at 9,8,7,6 and so on.  This is a super nice!
    Coil Split:
The Bridge Pot is a Push/Push Pot. When you depress the knob and release it splits the coil of the Hexbucker. Perfect for when you want to tame the monster down.
In and out of Phase option for Middle Pickup:
The Middle Tone Pot is a Push/Push Pot. When you depress the knob and release it takes the middle pickup out of phase. Most guitar Pickups are wired in phase.
Taking the pickup out of phase with another pickup has a dramatic impact on the sound, as there is a far greater degree of phase cancellation, creating a thinner, brighter tone. Works in both positions 2 and 4. Very useful option.
    Guitar Madness Hexbucker: (Bridge)
Similar to the original distortion pickups from the late 70’s. These are the original pickups that broke the mold and started a whole new business in replacement pickups. Excellent Hot PUP. When split it performs just as well. Perfect match to the Single Hex's. With fully adjustable poles it is one of my personal favorite setups.
Guitar Madness Single Hex: (Neck & Middle)
These have fully adjustable pole pieces and are similar in construction to the single coil size P-90’s with two Ferrite magnets on either side of the poles. This gives it a nice clear and punchy sound. Excellent complement to the Hexbucker.
This is a great way to update your Stratocaster.  We only use Top-of-the-Line Components, and that makes all the difference.
