    Description

    This is a brand new PARCHMENT pickguard. It fits genuine U.S.A. Fender Telecasters or Mexican Fender Telecasters. It is not a direct drop in for Squier and other imported Teles.
    Allparts Telecaster pickguards do not have the neck mounting holes pre-drilled for the neck pickup. Leo Fender originally designed them that way for a cleaner look. More and more Tele guitarists prefer the tone of the neck pickup when mounted to the body rather than the pickguard. It is easy enough for you to drill the mounting holes using your pickup as a template. Another reason for not drilling them was a lot of Tele neck pickup base plates were made of Fiberboard which don't accept threaded screws.
