A stunning, simple old piece. You can tell the age and quality just by looking at it. There are several spots of chipping enamel as you can see in the photos. The boxes hinges work perfectly fine, and the box opens and closes properly albeit just the slightest bit off center but it is truly not noticeable. Piece has a lot of integrity. These boxes are highly desirable and this is a beautiful one. Selling for my grandfather who bought the piece at least 30 years ago and it was secondhand then.
