Queen's Gambit in Action!  Vintage Complete Wood Chess Set (2 5/8" King) + Bonus (Interesting additional pieces).
Interesting Vintage Set - I always like my chess sets with a little extra character, and this one definitely has it.  The set is complete, and has the uniformity you want/expect.  On close inspection, you can see that the pieces are not exactly alike (as in the knights are not exactly the same - look at the ears).  Likely hand made, and not by machine, and I like that.  The rooks are just slightly not the same height.
Chess Pieces only, no Board.
Please take note also that the top part of the knights is two dimensional (flat).
When I picked up the set, it came with two primitive looking pieces (3 1/2" King, pawn - they look like they were carved out of an old fashioned clothespin, although I'm not sure.)  The third bonus piece is a King from a vintage Regency set, a really cool style.  For Good Luck!
