    Description

    A rare hand-crafted large wooden and leather sailing ship made in Germany in 1948.
    There is a bit of history:
    The owner (a LT. Colonel in the US Army) recently passed but he was a history buff and lived in Germany for much of his youth.
    A handwritten note from him regarding his father's purchase was found with the ship:
    In 1948 in Marborg Germany, Cliff Perham (my father - a colonel in the US Army) bought this from a German man that came to our door.
    Dad paid him 5 packs of Camel cigarettes.
    A total cost at that time was .75 cents!!
