Offered today this STUNNING Art Deco Sterling Silver and Guilloche Enamel Vanity Hair Brush by Saart Bros c.1910-1930. The lovely Guilloche design features a light "Aqua" blue cover with pink roses and vines surrounding a white center cartouche. The brush is 10 1/4" long by 3" at it's widest point. The sterling handle is in excellent condition as well is the ornate sterling brush surround save for a couple "very minor dints" neither of which affect the appearance as they really are barely noticeable. Overall I would rate the brush a 9.5+ EXCELLENT condition. The hair brushes are nylon not the more typical horsehair type typical of that period making it easy to clean and washable. This offering also includes a matching approx. 7 1/2" comb cover that is missing the comb.

Offered today this STUNNING Art Deco Sterling Silver and Guilloche Enamel Vanity Hair Brush by Saart Bros c.1910-1930. rely noticeable. Overall I would rate the brush a 9.5+ EXCELLENT condition. The hair brushes are nylon not the more typical horsehair type typical of that period making it easy to clean and washable. Both pieces are stamped STERLING and the Saart Bros hallmark "SB" at top of handle where it meets the brush head.
This offering also includes a matching approx. 7 1/2" comb cover that is missing the comb. The cover has a seam along the top of the cover that is separated but could be repaired or just used with a new comb that can be found on Ebay inserted.
They have
been carefully washed leaving the nice warm silver patina in the design work which definitely adds to their character).
I
NEVER BUFF OR USE MACHINE POLISHING.
As with all sterling and used items a final cleaning is left up to the buyer.
