Soapstone Vase, cobalt/royal blue painted etched, from Kenya, handmade, 6 inches

Description

I can not give a lot of facts about the vase since I did not purchase it myself.
If my memory serves me correctly it does come from Kenya.  By all appearance it is hand carved, hand painted and etched.  Notice the design which is repeated twice is not identical from one to the other.  I also believe it is soapstone as the inside with is neither painted nor glazed gives the feel of soap on the hands.  (A common characteristic of soapstone.)
Just so you know, the light brownish spot that appears towards the top on quite a few of the photos is just some sort of glare!  There is
no
brown or pink on the vase!
Vase is in beautiful condition.
It is not quite 6 inches tall and is about 2 3/4 inches wide at it's widest.
Comes from a smoke free, pet free home.
