100% maple shells offer a mellow, warm, and very balanced full tone providing low frequency punch and a mixed balance of mids and highs. Each drum features Sonor's popular 7-ply shell construction (4 plies of Canadian maple, 3 plies of Chinese maple).
Smart Mount Tom Mounting System
The AQ2 Series drums come with well designed shell hardware and a helpful tom mounting system: the SmartMount. This minimalistic yet functional mount has the true German design and engineering spirit inside: optimal sound sustain with a minimal amount of hardware on the drum shell.
