Sub-Sahara Africa Ceremonial Chieftain Predator Sword Rare

Old Sub-Sahara Africa Ceremonial Chieftain(?) Metal Sword - Rare. It has the depiction of an animal predator head. The blade is blunt and not sharpened. It also has a slight bending to it. There is some pitting and a couple of small holes in and around the head. Something small rattles inside the head but I have no idea what it is.
The overall length is about 25”.
I bought this about 20 years ago somewhere between Benin and Southern Nigeria. Actual age uncertain.
