This auction is for a short-sleeve shirt of The Beatles that is promoting their release of ‘Anthology 1’.
The shirt is a Large and is made of 100% pre-shrunk cotton. It was manufactured and released through Oneita Power-T of Andrews,
South Carolina
.
The front of the shirt is the album cover for Anthology 1, the back side is the albums title.
This shirt is in like new condition. I only wore it once when I had attended a Beatles convention in
Chicago
back in the late 1990’s
I had a friend that managed a local music store back in the 1990’s. She had this shirt handing on a display wall to show and advertise the shirts that were for sale. After stock was gone and no more shipments were to arrive, she gave me this display shirt for my collection. She had removed the UPC/price tag from the shirt for it to be ‘written-off’ and removed from inventory.
The shirt is clean and odor free. There are no stains, rips, tears, holes, or unraveling/hanging threads. This shirt is approximately 25 years old and looks like it’s brand new!
