Volume one : the story of The Beatles' years in Hamburg, told through the unpublished memories of Astrid Kirchherr and Klaus Voormann, illustrated with Astrid Kirchherr's renowned photographs of The Beatles, and Klaus Voormann's unique drawings. Volume two is dedicated to the Hamburg Days oil paintings, and the story of their creation. The sum total makes the limited edition box-set a priceless work of art, essential to any collection devoted to The Beatles, or to modern music in general. 2500 numbered copies were made, signed by Astrid Kirchherr and Klaus Voormann. This book is in good used condition.  The outer top part of the storage box has minimal age related wear and tear. The bottom part of the outer box is torn in the 2 long corners.  This damage can be seen in the photos.  The set contains 2 books, both which appear to be in good condition.  The pages are free from any water damage, tears, or folds. The covers and spines are in good condition.  The larger book is numbered 1395/2500.  It is signed by both authors.  I am not a collector of books, therefore, condition description is based on personal opinion.
