”) failed to capture the American Rock ‘n’ Roll market like “
I Want To Hold Your Hand
” did. The rest is history!

If you check the label of your original 45 RPM copy of
“
I Want To Hold Your Hand
”
from Capitol Records (with orange/yellow swirl label) you will see Duchess Music Corporation printed with publishing credit.
This sheet music originally sold for 60 cents in the U.S.
The sheet music is for vocal,
piano and probably guitar
and other instruments in general.
The front and rear covers have a glossy finish.
It
measures
8 ½ inches X 11 inches
and
includes
the front cover as Page 1, the reverse side of the front cover which is Page 2 and Page 5, the reverse of which is the rear cover. The insert which would be Page 4 backed with Page 5 is missing.
This sheet music is in
GOOD
Condition
with
the following to note: a
small
¼ inch tear on the top edge above the “L” in “BEATLES”, a
very tiny
tear/scuff under the “N” in “HAND”, a ½ inch split at the top of the center fold, a 2 ½ inch split at the bottom of the center fold, a very small smudge/stain at the top of the rear cover,
and
moderate
aging/
foxing
.
Overall, this sheet music has moderate to heavy signs of
wear and
handling;
HOWEVER, despite the wear on the front cover,
it
STILL displays quite well for its age
.
This is
a
NICE
HISTORIC MUSIC
COLLECTIBLE
for
a
Beatles collector
and/or musician
and
would look GREAT framed
!!!
