The Beatles Live in Australia 1964 2-disc DVD set including rare interviews, press conferences, newsreels, performances and more from the Beatles 1964 tour of Australia!
Also includes the Melbourne Complete Concert For Shell from ORIGINAL MASTER with supporting acts! With agreement to include only 6 Beatles songs and utilizing 1964 vintage editing techniques, the master videotape of the Beatles concert was literally cut up and the 4 Beatles songs not being used in the TV special hit the cutting room floor. The 4 songs (I Saw Her Standing There, Till There Was You, Roll Over Beethoven, & This Boy) are “visually” lost forever. These have now been restored from a surviving soundboard audio recording of the same concert, with visuals being provided from the library of concert photographs which are on display during the Beatles 1964 - 2004 exhibitions. Every second from the surviving rough cut videotape has been included in this restoration, therefore partial vision from some of these lost songs do make an appearance.
