THE BEATLES RECORD PLAYER IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION 1964!

This "all original"  Beatles record player is one of the nicest I have seen or have had for sale. It came from a collector in Texas who had owned it for decades.  He purchased it at Beatlefest. The photos on the inside and top are in great shape. It  retains its original serial number tag up under the lid. Even the power cord is also original to this player.
The "defects" mentioned in the condition description are typical of virtually all original Beatle record players, and most are due to the natural aging of the machines. This player has been well taken care of, even the bottom material is in great shape. As with all the Beatle record players I have sold, this one is being sold as an item for display only. The "hum" drowns out the music and the higher you turn up the volume the louder the hum becomes. This one changes speed correctly from 16 , 33, 45, up to 78 rpm. I'm assuming the 55 year old needle is well worn.
Many collectors favor originality over performance, but you could  pay a professional a few hundred dollars to replace an internal part or two so the player sounds good, but that would be your call.  I don't know if that would increase or decrease the overall value to other collectors.
