Beatles Yellow Submarine “The Dreadful Flying Glove”
This is a lovely one-of-a-kind hand-painted porcelain wall hanging of the Beatles Yellow Submarine’s Blue Meanies’ Dreadful Flying Glove. Purchased at an art festival in Berkeley, California in the 1980s. The artist is unknown. This is the only known one like this to my knowledge.
In excellent shape. 10” by 3” inches.  A loop hook on the back for hanging.
There is a small chunk that has broken off the backside, however, it cannot be seen from the front.
"The Dreadful Flying Glove: Probably the fiercest of the Blue Meanies and their strongest weapon. Though there is only one glove, it is a force to be reckoned with: crushing, squashing, or "o-blue-terating" whoever or whatever its master directs it to attack. It varies from being a right-handed glove to a left-handed one, depending on the situation, has a stylized face, with the thumbnail acting as the eye and the index finger as the nose, the middle finger and ring finger serving as its mouth (grinning teeth are clearly visible between these fingers). As it clenches itself into a fist, it covers up its eye, temporarily blinding it. The glove also has an evil, sinister sounding laugh in a low register. It is ultimately defeated when John sings "All You Need is Love" and entangles it in the letters of all the words that spring from his mouth as he sings."--wiki
