For your consideration is an authentic Mid Century Chinese box
Very interesting Rhomboid shape
Inlayed lacquered wood with intarsia depicting the endangered Red Panda
Two wood colors, yellow and brown
The inside is layered with tan color satin
Blue mark on the bottom with Chinese characters and the words "Made in China"
Circa 1960-70's, Mao Tse-tung period China
All original
