Vintage 8-Piece Pink Celluloid Vanity Set

Description

This pretty pink Art Deco vanity set includes the following:
12 ½” hand mirror, 8 ½” hand brush, 7 ¾” comb, 5 ¾” shoe horn, 5 ¼” manicure tool, 4 ¾” cuticle tool, 4 ¾” scissors and 9 5/8” x 7 ¼” tray.
All eight pieces are made of pink marbleized celluloid plastic and feature vintage Art Deco-style designs and the tray features a lacy needle work pattern inserted between two pieces of glass.
This vintage set is in good condition with the exception of the following flaws:
The mirror handle is cracked and the mirror is blemished, but still usable;
there is a small chip on the brush plastic; the comb is missing some teeth; the shoe horn has some scuffs/scratches; the manicure tools have some tarnish on the metal and the cuticle tool has some nicks on the handle; the scissors are in good working order but the blade tips are slightly bent; and the tray has a couple of tiny nicks along the rim and a small crack on the black ring surrounding the glass.
Despite these imperfections, this eight-piece vanity set makes a nice presentation.
