This listing is for an Vintage Antique Possibly Chinese Vanity Jewelry Box with Berlinpoint Hand embroidered top exterior panel & black silk exterior and Padded white Silk Interior and ruffled white silk pocket under lid with padded white silk roof interior with lightly padded interior walls with bottom part divided to 4 sections with white silk walls which are lightly padded and base of all 4 sections padded also and covered with white silk .
Good overall size at 6 5/8 inches by 8 7/8 inches by 4 1/8 inches , weighing 468 grams net.
In good usable as is condition with minor soiling of interior silk as shown and with some wear and staining on exterior walls and 3 of bottom corners as shown.The clasp type lock is worn and missing  The main panel on lid has a couple of stains that are barely noticeable. Could be used as is or repurposed or perhaps even the top panel framed and hung.
knot count of 34x34 knots per square inch or 1156 knots per square inch  or roughly about 680, 000 knots ( please look at specific images and count yourself ) makes the top panel a very fine example of Chinese Berlin-point embroidery. If it was not because of the box, I would figure its French.
