Vintage CHINESE BLACK FAMILLE-STYLE Lidded Ceramic Vanity Desk Jewelry Box with Gold-Gilt trim
Beautiful rectangular lidded box, Made in China. Definitely has some age to it, but not quite sure when it was made.
It measures 8.25" long by 4" wide and stands roughly 4" tall with lid.
It has an overall black background with rust/red accents and raised gold-gilt trim all around the sides
and edges of the lid, see photos #9-10. The top looks to be hand-painted with images of flowers and a bird, see photos #5-7.
It has some Chinese markings on the bottom as well as English writing "Made in China" and a number "4", see photos #11-12.
As for condition, there are no cracks, chips, damage or paint loss that I can see.
Possibly just a bit of wear on the gold gilt trim. See all photos.
